A tale of clumsy & unfortunate incidents

I have been nicknamed clumsy / blur for obvious reasons with accompanying incidents that people still recall after so long. Very funny meh?

1) First year, first sem. Y' know those professional shirts with collar, long sleeve and button? I had presentation that day- actually i had a 1/3 chance to present but my groupmates wanted me to get picked to present n made me wear smartly. anyway, it had been awhile since i put that shirt on. it felt a bit strange when buttoning but i just thought i forgot how it felt like already. i buttoned up n went out like nothing. While squishing into the bus, someone nicely told me that i had my shirt INSIDE OUT. I wonder how many noticed before i did, n i rushed to change it back upon reaching the faculty. The laughs continued when friends actually tested the way i buttoned up and said its impossible not to notice the 'terbalik' of it.

2) For the first three semesters in uni, there had been the spills and the 'thrills' from people hearing about my falling stories. Sem 1, missed a step getting down the uni bus and landed on my big fat bottom right in front of descending and alighting passengers. Needless to say, the ego hurt more than the bum. My friend was aghast and quickly dragged me up and ran off from the scene. Sem 2, in the packed bus with every inch of space maxed out, I was trying my best to stand firmly. Looking for places to place my hand, it was hard to find. Suddenly, the bus braked and it looked like i had a crush on the driver when i nearly fell on him! Such embarassment, got down at the next stop and didnt wanna take the bus the driver was in for a period of time. Sem 3, again the curse of missing a step. But this time, landed awkwardly on my left foot and immediate swelling ensued. It was like a big pau for a few days and all my friends did was first laugh n shook their head as they have heard one too many similar stories. I think i fell on stairs from running up or down hastily, numerous times in the hostel as well. Sem 4 was accident free, there should be la but nothing super-ly 'memorable'. Sem 5, as I was intern-ing in The Star, I rushed down to meet my friend and jumped off a pretty high step, didnt land properly and fell down as though i was prostrating before an oncoming Mercedes Benz -_-. Aiyo, it probably looked like i was desperate for a rich husband who could afford this luxury. Sem 6, was pretty safe, safe for the little almost trips here and there.

3) This one was dubbed 'drama'. I decided to wear heels one day (ppl who know me will know i rarely do). Whilst i was walking to the bus stop to wait for the bus that takes us to church, the sky was gravely graying. Walking faster, with the wind howling and threatening to blow my brolly away, i suddenly felt something funny on my right foot. Looking down, i saw the strap on the front part putus-ed. The show didnt have a back strap, which would offer some support. So i thought of walkin wit one proper shoe slowly to the bus stop b4 calling for assistance. Few steps later, the rain descended, plus the other strap on the left foot broke as well! My umbrella was weak to protect me, thus i was already half wet. Walked barefooted on wet tar to the shed and called a friend to bring slippers so i could dash up to change shoe. In the heavy rain, i probably ran the fastest in my life uphill to my room on the fourth floor to wipe myself half dry n change shoe. Out of breath, i ran back down where the bus was here already. Thinking that i could finally sit n rest, i entered the bus, closed my umbrella....and it rained again in the bus. The donkey umbrella was blown upwards, collecting water and naturally fell when i closed it. So much for dryness.....nearly had pneumonia that nite, i supposed. .

Its Friday, and I'm not in a mood for anything. Noticed that this entry is full of 'I's. Narcissism to the max.
